The key location for accessibility for accommodation with good links to the Festival HUB and most walks would be Swanage, Wareham, Corfe Castle and the surrounding areas – there are a host of venues from Cottages and Campsites to Yurts and luxury Boutique Hotels.

The Swanage Tourist Information Centre has put together a list of Hotels, Guest Houses, B&B, Self Catering and Camping accommodation – please click below to view/download the PDF List.

Here are a couple of our favourite places to stay too
California Barn – a mix of rutic camping and barns – great for groups
Bankes Arms Hotel – stunning boutique Hotel in Corfe Castle

If you are looking for group accommodation let us know asap (contact us).

We have secured a wild camping field at Burnbake a famous camping site on the Rempstone estate near to Studland Bay and close to the hub (10 mins by car ). Toilets are in the next field and there are no other amenities but prices start at £12 per night. Let us know if you are interested in this e mail

We also recommend these great local campsites:-

Acton Field is also just across the road from HQ with views over Swanage Bay

Toms Field is a legendary rustic campsite near to the Hub and NWUK HQ – it is also on the famous Priests way but it is not bookable in advance

Acton Field is also just across the road from HQ with views over Swanage Bay

For more sophisticated camping you could try the Camping Club site at Corfe Castle

Or Norden Farm between Corfe Castle and Wareham

If you fancy the romance of camping with more facilities why not check out the lodges at Burnbake (book 3 together and get a group discount) or the new Safari Tents at Langton – close to the hub and a unique luxury experience.

For those without cars we will operate a car share plan for each activity during the event but we are delighted to be able to offer a direct train from London to the HUB (twice daily) or every hour to Wareham with a bus direct to the HUB which also has direct links to Swanage.

There is a steam train from Corfe Castle to Swanage ( and a great bus service ( Please note, whilst walks will be starting from the HUB on the Saturday in order that we have a nice gathering for the challenge walkers as they come in – many will also start at other locations around the Isle of Purbeck (especially on the Friday and Sunday) and full directions will be given when you register for them. We will let you know travel time from the hub and also parking information. We want you to experience the full range of hills, rugged coast and moorland plus the history and culture of our amazing ‘Island’.
