Meet the Team
The Rustick festival is the result of hours of route planning and tracking by a group of fantastic local Instructors who sourced the iconic HUB location and have put together the amazing schedule of walks
We have kept to locations near to the HUB for this inaugural event but if you would like to join the Instructors to explore more of the Peak District – many of them have scheduled a special meet up walk for the Sunday too.
Sam is the Event route Master extraordinaire! About to celebrate her 10th Anniversary as a NWUK Delivery Partner, she has vast knowledge of local walks and has worked tirelessly to bring you the best of them!

Tim has had a love for the outdoors and history for as long as he can remember. He likes to help and encouraging people to try new things, to keep active and challenge themselves and he thinksa Nordic Walking is ideal for this.
Having worked in manufacturing for more years than I care to remember and latterly in the automotive parts supply industry, Nordic Walking gave me the tools to help me lose weight, gain fitness and a new direction in my life.
I have successfully taught my wife, daughter, daughter in law and 3 of my grandchildren to Nordic walk
My aim as an Instructor is to inspire more people, to be more active, more often. Nordic walking is a fun, safe and sociable way to improve your health, fitness and wellbeing and I am passionate about encouraging more people to include physical activity into their weekly routine.
